In May we asked our visitors to pick their favorite Dickens novel.  This was round two!  We asked people to pick their favorite Dickens novel from May's top five contenders.

And here are some comments from people who participated in the poll.

Regarding A Christmas Carol:

  • It is the greatest story of redemption ever written.
  • One of the five books I would take to a desert island.
  • It wouldn't be Christmas without the Carol.

Regarding Great Expectations:

  • Who hasn't been in love with an Estella?
  • Excellent and compelling read

Regarding Oliver Twist:

  • Fagin and the Dodger are amazing characters
