In the past I recommended that clients use the Fast Secure Contact Form on their WordPress sites. I also used the Contact Form DB plugin to back up the contact form submissions. Those plugins are no longer available on WordPress.org. I’m now recommending the Caldera Forms plugin for contact forms. Here’s why and some tips on using it.

In the past I’ve used the Limit Login Attempts and IP Filter plugins to keep WordPress sites safe from brute force attacks. I’m now using WP Cerber.
SG Optimizer will go through all the code for your theme and plugins looking for things that won’t work with PHP 7.0. Once the plugin is done with its analysis, it gives you a list of any problems that it finds.
