Finding photos for website posts and designs can be hard. I’ve spent hours looking through images for one that has the right mood, the desired colors and is the needed shape. And then there’s the cost issue. I don’t mind paying for great photos, but it can get expensive.
Enter Unsplash. It’s a service that provides high-quality, royalty-free photographs for free. You heard me right. It’s totally free.
Photographers donate their work for various reasons. Some want exposure and others want to give back to the community. The photos can be copied, modified and even used for commercial purposes. While it’s not necessary to credit the photographer, it’s nice to do when possible.
So what’s the photo quality like? Pretty darn good!
